Casa das Riscas | Traditional Comporta Architecture near Pego Beach

Just a short walk from Pego Beach, Casa das Riscas reflects the essence of traditional Comporta architecture. Set within a landscaped plot of 1,462 sqm, the property comprises four independent buildings inspired by the region’s original cabanas, where simple forms and a close connection to the outdoors define the character of the house.

The arrangement of the four buildings creates a series of distinct spaces, connected by wooden decks and terraces that establish a natural flow between the interiors and the garden. Five bedrooms are distributed across three buildings, allowing family members and guests to enjoy both privacy and independence.

The main building features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living and dining area opening onto the terraces. A second building accommodates two further bedrooms, a bathroom and an additional sitting room. The fifth bedroom is an independent guest suite, offering greater privacy. The kitchen occupies a fourth building, entirely dedicated to this purpose, a distinctive feature that recalls the traditional layout of Comporta homes.

Outside, the landscaped garden surrounds the different buildings, while the swimming pool and wooden terraces provide inviting spaces to relax, gather with family or enjoy meals outdoors. The separation between the buildings gives each space its own rhythm, while maintaining a close relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Located in a residential area of Carvalhal, close to Pego Beach and the village, Casa das Riscas brings together the authenticity of local architecture, the privacy of a property composed of several buildings and a way of living deeply connected to the natural landscape of Comporta.
